Earlier this year Brody set himself some goals: he wanted to sign up for the Farmer’s Market, create new products, and grow his business.
He has done just that and we couldn’t be more proud of him! On August 6th Brody will be participating in the Berthoud Farmer's Market. He is SO excited… and also realizing he has a lot of work to do! He is working overtime to get candles made PLUS introduce new products as well. He also completed and passed a food safety class to sell “cottage foods”.
He just came out with the new “Orange Chicken” candle (thanks to those who voted on the name. It’s actually the one Brody was hoping for, too!) and now he has two brownie mixes to add to his shop. Not only has he been busy with making products, he has also been keeping up with his chickens.
He has one broody chicken right now, which Brody hopes to one day hatch his own chicks. For right now, that’s not a possibility. One day, though! They’ve also enjoyed fresh cut wheat from the Kansas harvest he helped his family with this year.
There’s never a dull moment, that’s for sure. All the help, support, and encouragement has been awesome. Thanks for following along!
