The start of something new! After reading and researching different chicken breeds and learning what needed to be done to take care of chickens, Brody was ready for some chicks. Brody came home from school and washed up the bin to keep the chicks we were about to bring home. Later that day, we brought home some chicks, which were probably just a couple days old. Brody selected White Rocks and Black Stars - both breeds which are known to be great with kids, resilient, and proficient egg layers.
